Ingredients:-

 For the sponge:-

  1. Egg, 500 grams
  2. Flour, 210 grams 
  3. Cocoa powder, 50 grams
  4. Sugar, 250 grams

For Cake 🎂 :-

  1. Chocolate sponge, 1.2 kg
  2. Whipped cream, 400 grams 
  3. Dark Chocolate flakes, 40 grams
  4. Black cherry compote, 20 grams
  5. Grain sugar, 100 grams
  6. Water, 100 ml

Method Of Cooking:-

The method of Sponge:-

  1. Beat the egg and the sugar together till fluffy.
  2. Sift flour, cocoa powder, and fold into the egg mixture.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased moulds and bake at 200°C.

The method of Cake 🎂 :-

  1. Boil water and sugar to make sugar syrup. Cool and set aside.
  2. Slice the Sponge horizontally in 3-4 layers 
  3. Layers each Sponge with sugar syrup, whipped cream and cherry compote.
  4. Finish the top of the Cake and the sides with the whipped cream.
  5. Pipe the whipped cream over the cake and garnish with chocolate flakes and cherries.

Remarks:-

  • Make sure the eggshells don't drop in the mixing bowl.
  • Preheat the oven.
  • Grease the mould with oil or butter. And also spread some flour on the mould.
  • Refrigerate the cake for 2 - 3 hours.
