The sandwich loaf is an entreé course it is a type of sandwich the sandwich loaf is cut horizontally and spread the layer of filling. The main ingredients in the sandwich loaf are flour, yeast, salt, sugar, water and oil. Major types of sandwich include:-

- Open-faced sandwich

- Submarine, hero, hoagie sandwich
- The two halves of baguette or roll with other ingredients fillings.

2 slices of sandwich loaf give us 150 calories. It gives 1 gram of fat, carbohydrate 14 grams, protein 2 grams. It also gives us Vitamin A, D, E, calcium and iron.

Ingredients:-
- Flour, 1 kg
- Yeast, 60 grams
- Salt, 20 grams
- Sugar, 50 grams
- Bread Improver, 20 grams
- Water, 600 ml
- Milk Powder, 25 grams
- Oil, 80 ml
Method Of Cooking:-
- Weigh all ingredients and sift the flour.
- Knead all the ingredients except oil for 5 minutes.
- When the gluten has formed, add oil and knead again until the dough is smooth.
- Keep the dough for proofing, knockback, scale 1300 grams for a breakfast loaf and 1600 grams for a sandwich loaf.
- Shape the bread and put into the greased bread tin.
- Allow to proof and bake at 200°C for 30 minutes.
Remarks:-
- First, activate the yeast and rest it for 5 minutes.
- Cover the dough with a wet muslin cloth and rest it for 45 minutes.
- The dough should soft, smooth and elastic.
- Again proof your dough for 45 minutes.
- Press to exhaust the air from the dough.
- Grease your bread tin with butter.
- Again proof your loaf and cover with a muslin cloth.
- Preheat your oven at 200°C for around 20 to 25 minutes.
- Let the bread come at room temperature then it ready to use.
