Description
Rich and mellow, Sprig's natural bourbon vanilla extract is made from Madagascar vanilla beans. Ingredients:-
- Eggs, 250 grams
- Milk, 500 ml
- Sugar, 100 grams
- Vanilla pods Scrapings, 1 gram
Method of Cooking:-
- Make caramel of 30 grams sugar and pour on the base of the mould.
- Boil sugar, milk, vanilla essence together. Set aside to cool.
- When the above mixture is lukewarm add eggs to it and strain.
- Pour in moulds avoiding air bubbles and cover each mould with aluminium foil.
- Put in a deep tray with enough water to cover just over half of the moulds.
- Bake in the oven at 150°c for 35 minutes.
- Cool demould and serve.
Remarks:-
- Blend the milk, egg, sugar and the vanilla essence.
- Check you custard by using a toothpick.
- Put your pudding in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
