             What are Soft Rolls?

The soft roll is soft because the yeast is produced the carbon dioxide. The yeast has raised the buns it was small rounded and it is plain and sweet.

Ingredients:-

  1. Flour, 1 kg
  2. Yeast, 30 grams
  3. Sugar, 50 grams
  4. Butter, 50 grams 
  5. Salt, 15 grams
  6. Eggs, 100 grams 
  7. Milk powder, 25 grams
  8. Water, 500 ml

Method of Cooking:-

1. Mix all the above ingredient in the dough mixer and at the end mix the butter when the ingredients are mixed properly.
2. Knead the dough for 5 minutes. On slow speed until the gluten has formed.
3. Add the softened butter and knead again till a smooth dough is obtained.
4. Keep the dough for proofing, knock-back and rest again.
5. Scale a dough in 25 - 30 grams. Size and rest.
6. Shape the rolls into desired shapes as shown and place on a baking tray.
7. Glaze with egg wash and top it up with toppings of your choices.
8. Bake at 200°c for 15 - 20 minutes.

Remarks:-

  • Properly knead the dough.
  • Add the butter in two parts.
  • The dough should be soft and shiny and the texture of the dough should be smooth.
  • Grease the pan with flour.
  • And give the desired shape of the dough as you wish.
  • For proofing approximately 30 - 40 minutes. 
  • Preheat your oven before you place the soft rolls.
  • And sprinkle the sesame seeds.
  • When the dough is baked then grease the soft rolls with the butter.
