Tomato Sauce Recipe

 The Tomato Sauce is a type of Sauce. The place of origin is Mexico and the region of the state is the Aztec Empire. The variation of Tomato Sauce is Salsa Picante, Arrabbiata Sauce. In countries such as India, South Africa, United Kingdom, New Zealand, the tomato sauce is also used to describe a similar to ketchup.

Ingredients:-

  1. Olive Oil, 70 ml
  2. Onions, 100 grams
  3. Garlic, 20 grams
  4. Tomatoes, 1 kg


  1. Tomato Paste, 80 grams
  2. White Wine, 50 ml
  3. Basil, 10 grams
  4. Salt, to taste
  5. Pepper, to taste


Method Of Cooking:-

  1. Heat olive oil and sauté onions and garlic.
  2. Add tomato paste and cook for 10 minutes on a medium flame.
  3. Add French chopped tomatoes and white wine and cook covered for 30 to 40 minutes on a medium flame or a hot plate.
  4. Season and add torn basil in the last 10 minute of cooking.
  5. Store and use as required.


Remarks:-

  • Cook the tomatoes until it is not mashed properly.
  • Store in a clean and dry container.
